Terms and Conditions

1.  CARDS IN YARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS

A. All elements of the yard card display are for rental only and are the sole property of CARDS IN YARD.

B. Company signage will be placed in or near the rental sign, please DO NOT remove it .

C. CARDS IN YARD reserve the right to photograph the yard display and use it for marketing and/or any other purpose in promoting CARDS IN YARD.

D. CARDS IN YARD reserves the right to politely decline orders that are political, controversial, lewd, disrespectful or that do not fit the celebrator nature of our business.

2. YARD & LAWN REQUIREMENTS

A. No backyard displays. 

B. If the area is fenced the display will be sit up outside of the fenced area.  If inside the fenced area must be disclosed at the time of rental or CARDS IN YARD has the right cancel without refund.

C. Grass must be cut and area open for rental.

D. Yard to be watered within 72 hours of placing the signs.  The lack of soft ground makes it extremely difficult to stake.  If CARDS IN YARD can not stake the yard no refund will be given.  (CARDS IN YARD does have the availability of stands if needed for weather concerns.)

E. NO cutting of grass while the signs are in yard.

F. Please notify CARDS IN YARD if known sprinkler system is in the yard.  If CARDS IN YARD has not been notified we do not take any responsibility of damage to any sprinkler system. 

3. YARD SIGNAGE

A. We encourage you to pose next to the yard display and take/share photographs of your celebration on all social media sites and with family and friends.

B. DO NOT REMOVE, MOVE OR CHANGE ANY ELEMENTS OF THE DISPLAY WITHOUT CONSENT FROM CARDS IN YARD.   Moving or removing of cards can cause damage which would result in an extra fee. 

C. DO NOT PLAY around the signage or allow pets to be around the signs.

D. DO NOT Attach balloons, streamers or other items to any part of the sign displays without consent from CARDS IN YARD.

4. DISPLAYING AND REMOVAL OF SIGNS

A. The rental display elements will be displayed between dusk and late night the evening before your rental date.  

B. Removal of rental display elements will be the evening of the rental between dusk and late night.  

C. If either of these are changed it is the express consent of CARDS IN YARD to do at the time of rental or CARDS IN YARD has the right to change the time of display or remove do to weather concerns.

5. LIABILITY

A. CARDS IN YARD and all representatives of CARDS IN YARD are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during the installation, rental time and removal/pickup time period.

B. CARDS IN YARD is not responsible or liable for any damage done to the lawn by the yard card display, for example:  holes in the ground/grass area, or damage to an underground sprinkler system.

6. PAYMENT & FEES

A. Payment is accepted via the website through a credit card system.

B.  Full payment is required at the time of booking in order to confirm your reservation.

C. Credit card information is not held by CARDS IN YARD.

D. Vandalized, missing, stolen or moved elements of the sign rental are the responsibly of the homeowner/tenant at the location of the rental.

E. Fees charged for the above are $35.00 per element of the rental.  Missing stakes are charged at $5.00 each.

7. REFUND POLICY:

Normal policy is NO REFUNDS. 

A. If CARDS IN YARD finds winds or weather to exceed the conditions for signage to withstand, we will credit the customer for future display or delay displaying the signage for a certain amount of time.

B. CARDS IN YARD  will give no refunds due to the client giving the wrong address, or if NO HOUSE # is displayed on the property when CARDS IN YARD is setting displays.

D. NO REFUNDS will be issued for denied access to a gated community.  Please advise us if it is a gated/locked community prior to the event and whom we need to contact or code to get in.

E. NO REFUNDS given if we are unable to display due to any loose animals in the yard.

F. Cancellation questions call 937-322-3423.  (As a note, we DO NOT keep credit card numbers on file.)  These must be made by phone. 

8.  CUSTOMER PRIVACY POLICY:

A. CARDS IN YARD respect your privacy.  We do not sell or share your information with anyone or anything. 

9. Inside rentals available.  

A. Cards In Yard does do inside rentals. These are limited to the hours of your rental area.  We display 1-2 hours prior to your event.  We pickup 1-2 hours after your event.  These rentals start at our daily fee prices for location.  These rentals are not a daily rental and may be subject to an additional fee.    

B.   Inside rentals do require an additional rental form.  This form covers the cost to replace the equipment at a charge of not less than $750 if the equipment is damaged or unable to be returned within the allotted time frame of initial rental time.  A credit card number must be given at the time of set up.
